It's been a very long time since I've posted.  We have had several events in the store and it's been just so busy.  This weekend we are happy to have Zana from Stamp Zia for a full weekend of classes.  Everyone is having a great time, and even taking their work placemats home as they end up works of art as well!

Thank you Zana for a wonderful weekend.  It is always so great to see you again.  Everyone had an amazing time and were thrilled with all of the techniques they learned.

Fran's Garage Sale was a huge hit.  Everything was gone in under 2 hours!  The deals were fantastic.  You can see for yourself from the beginning to the end.

A little humid, wouldn't you say, and it's supposed to get worse!  My hair!!!! ;-)

We will be having a fun Make 'n Take this Saturday, Aug. 4th.  It will run from 1-4pm, every half hour.  The cost is $3 if you pre-register, and $5 at the door, if space is available.  You will be making 1 very cute Birdhouse card, and you will be able to see several other samples of what else you can do with the stamps, paper and dies, all from Impression Obsession and The Paper Cut.

Here are 2 other samples to inspire you to see how versatile the dies and stamps are.  They would even make a great card for a house warming or make it wintery for Christmas by just adding a little Liquid Applique for snow and glitter.  I guess I wouldn't use the eggs or butterfly then! ;-)  Perhaps some berries or branches with snow.

Good afternoon

Hi everyone,

What a fantastic summer day.  This is how I would like summer to be, warm, not hot, with no humidity.

We just got back from the CHA with lots of new ideas for classes.  As usual we wanted to see Penny Black and Impression Obsession first.  Penny Black had wonderful samples and we got to see Elizabeth Allen's smiling face again.  She is just the warmest person!  We placed an order with them and can't wait until it arrives so we can get started on Christmas classes...Ouch! 

We then went to Impression Obsession and were once again wowed by their amazing samples and of course placed an order with Mitra.

We did a lot of Make 'n Takes which are always fun, and will be doing them in the store in the Fall. 

Spellbinders has a lot of new dies, but we'll have to wait for them to be released...so we have to be patient..."Are they in yet?" ;-)

Sizzix has some very creative new 3D dies and we'll be having classes with them, once we get them.  We have so many ideas...so little time.  We spent time chatting with Karen Burniston.  What an amazing person.  She is so inventive.  It takes a lot of precise measurements to get all of the pieces to function well in her 3D Pop-Ups.  Here are some samples of other dies.

Heartfelt Creations have some wonderful stamps that match their dies and they made some beautiful cards and boxes with them.

I guess that's it for now.  I'll try to keep you posted as products come in.  If there is anything you would like to order, just give me the code and I can put it in the next order that I place.  You can look at any of the sites mentioned above, and I can get those products as well.  If you pay in advance, I will give you 20%.

What a beautiful day!  The weather has been amazing.  Nice and cool at night as well. 

The Make 'n Take on Saturday was so much fun.  We had it outdoors under a tent and the weather again, was perfect.  The embossing punches were a huge hit.  They are so easy to use, and punch well, unlike a lot of other brands.

This is what we made and other examples using the punches.

Hi Everyone,

We are having a Free Make 'n Take this Saturday the 7th, from 10-2pm.  We will be demo-ing these amazing punches, which not only cut out the shape but also emboss when they are put into the "waffel maker".  You will make a really cute tag using a few of the punches, but you can also try any of the ones you want.  They also have pre-printed floral designs that you can punch and emboss with a mixture of many colours, to be able match any colour scheme you are using.  You can create a pattern from scratch, or embellish a stamped design.  I've included a few of the cards and there are many more samples in the store.  As I am having a little "issue" with my email, I've decided to include the email that was sent out here as well, in case you didn't receive it.

Come and see the new cutting and embossing punches that have just arrived. We will be having a free demo/Make ‘n Take on Sat. July 7^th. from 10-2pm. They are a wonderful way to embellish your cards, and as long as you have paper, you can match any design you want without having to purchase pre-made paper or silk flower. They even have sheets already printed with coloured flowers on them from which you can punch your flowers. They can be used alone or can also make a stamped design 3D without any tedious cutting.
