Hi everyone,
Well, it's been a LONG couple of weeks, but we're finally moved into our new location. Everything is not completely organized, (imagine that ;-), but the store is now officially open.
We just received a lot of the new dies from Spellbinders, and also Penny Black new stamps. We also received more Memory Box dies as well.
Our classrooms are now in order and once we return from a trade show next week, we should have a lot of new classes. We have 2 new classes that should be up next week.
We hope to see you soon. It's about 5mins. from the old store by the 20 highway. You just go west to Woodland if you are coming from the city, go left and turn left at Beaconsfield Blvd. We are at 480 Beaconsfield Blvd. on your right. It is a charming neighborhood with several good restaurants and the gallery is FULL of surprises!
Time to get back to unpacking,
Bonnie

Hi everyone
Happy March!
Things are "moving" around here. It's amazing how much you accumulate over 20 years. It feels good to purge but is a lot of sorting. I really wish I had a BIG dumpster.
We will be having our biggest sale ever this Sat. and Sun. Everything in the store will be 30%-75%. I'm selling racks as well and various craft items. For a $25 purchase you will receive a solar light/water bottle (one per customer) a value of $29.99.
We will be starting to move the Monday after the sale and will be into our new place by the 15th. I'll keep you posted as to the opening date.
It is a totally charming place, and will be an exciting new venture.
Hope to see you at the sale and at the new store.

Good afternoon to all
Hi everyone,
This will be a short note...for a change ;-)
We are having a HUGE sale tomorrow from 10-5pm. Everything in the store is 25% but there are much deeper discounts on stamps, punches, all Christmas paper. We have made up packages of 12 x 12 paper 50sheets/$7.50.... 30 cents per sheet! We have tons of stamps, some slightly used, and some treasured PSX which I just have to part with or I'll become a hoarder if I'm not already there ;-) In the classroom everything is 50%, 75% and $1.
You won't be disappointed.
Hope to see you there,
Bonnie

Hi everyone
As usual, it's been a while. I hope you all had a good holiday. It seems to be over so quickly compared to all of the preparation, and now we are already thinking of Valentine's Day and SPRING!!! I did notice the days are visibly longer. Ya!
We have a few new classes either just posted or soon to be up. There is one for Valentine's Day and a new Hero Arts one as well. There will be another Valentine's Day Cuttlebug class up in the next few days.
We are also going to receive Memory Box in the next week. They have such beautiful dies, and some matching stamps. Penny Black is at my broker and Hero Arts is being placed as we speak. If you want to add anything just let me know.
Here are a few cards I did before Christmas, and as they were for friends, I didn't want to put them up before they were given. They were both from Memory Box. The poinsettia is a stamp and they have the die to match. I used the lattice background paper from Best Creations in the first card. They were both coloured with Tombow Markers.
Stay warm,
Bonnie
Here are 2 beautiful upcoming classes.
Love is in the Air
Sat. Feb. 4, 10-12:30pm

Good afternoon
Hi everyone,
I guess we are all in the last minute panic of the holidays. I think I need the pressure to finally get things done!
I have just received new dies and stamps. They are absolutely gorgeous! We will be having a sale on the weekend, but as I just received these, (the company took a long time to ship), they will not be in the sale. The prices seem very reasonable, and they are so delicate and unique. The also have some beautiful stamps, some to match the dies as well. If you mention my blog, however, I will give you 20% off.
Have a wonderful, although very wet, day! Remember, it could be snow...

Good morning!
Hi everyone,
It's beginning to feel like Christmas, suddenly! I haven't bought a gift yet, and I'm still waiting for a die to come in the make my cards. If it wasn't for the last minute, nothing would get done at all ;-)
We are having a Make 'n Take this Sunday, Dec. 11, from 12-4pm. Each one is $5 and they will be running approximately every 1/2hr. You can make tags, wine tags, and small gift cards, for some quick ideas to adorn your gifts or wine bottles. We thank Roz for the simple, yet stunning bird card idea.
We hope you can make it for a fun afternoon.
I've made a few cards over the last week or so. They are all quick yet effective...
I used the Cuttlebug and the Marianne Ornament dies, but what makes all of the difference is using Mirracard. It is SOOO shiny. I must have been a crow in a former life! I put sticky tape on a piece of cardstock around the same size as the ornament, peeled off the top layer of tape and stuck down the ornament cut-out. I then sprinkled glitter in the holes. After, as it was a simple shape, I cut out the ornaments, popped them out with foam buttons, and hung them with gold cord from a border punch of Martha Stewart.
For the following card, I also used sticky tape on card stock, cut out the tree die, peeled off the top layer of release sheet from the tape, stuck down the tree and then poured warm highlights glitter everywhere, added a few red crystals, et voilâ! A very simple card. I tied a red velvet ribbon along the side, for an old-fashioned look.
The final simple card is a sleigh die from Marianne as well. I cut it out of red mirracard. I then embossed the opal background with trees and snowflakes from Sizzix, layered the back with red mirracard, and taped it onto the opal card. I added Stickles crystal glitter on the trees and snowflakes. Very fast, but elegant.
Have a great weekend and I hope to see you Sunday!

Good afternoon to all
Hi everyone,
The Christmas season is quickly approaching, although it is difficult to get into the spirit whith such warm weather, but that's not a complaint!
It is hard to keep up with the demand, especially for the Spellbinders, or other dies. I keep ordering, and only received a few at a time due to backorders, which continues to be a big issue. We should be receiving some more tomorrow, but we did get in Marianne and Cherry Lynn.
My favourite company for stamps still is Penny Black. They cover all styles, and so well. We've had classes with the Mimis, Belles, Old Fashioned and now I've made a sample with the new elf designs which are just SO CUTE!
I also made a card using a new die company, with Fran's glitter expertise. I will be ordering from them as soon as I finish here. They have such delicate dies and stamps as well. It's nice to find some more unique designs.
We still have some spaces left in the Cuttlebug Ornament as well as the Poinsettia, if you are able to take a class and need some inspiration to get you started for the holidays.
Cuttlebug Ornament:
Wed. 23rd. Nov. 1-12:30
Sat. 26th. 1:30-4
Poinsettia:
Wed. Nov. 30 10-12:30
Sat. Dec. 3 1:30-4
We also have a new French Wording plate which we should be receiving next week.
Have a wonderful day!

Hi everyone
Imagine, twice in one week!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I can't believe it was warm enough to eat the turkey dinner out on the deck. I don't believe it has ever been that warm. We've been so lucky.
I have a photo of the candle that Isabel will be doing in the Metal Art class on Nov. 12, 1:30-4pm. The pic doesn't do it justice, but I was having difficulty getting the metal to look like metal and the candle got lost in the translation ;-)
I also was able to make two cards in the last few days. The first was done using the Create-a-Card background stamps from Impression Obsession. I used the snowflake background, and stamped in white onto Kraft coloured paper. I dried it quickly with a heat tool, and then applied Colorbox Evergreen pigment ink to the pine bough stamp and stamped over the snowflakes. I then embossed with Rainbow Sparkle EP. I used a pine branch from our Stocking #2 set and again stamped in Evergreen and embossed in Rainbow Sparkle. I stamped the ornament in clear and embossed in gold. I coloured the ball with Tombow markers and tied it with a two-coloured ribbon. I then used foam tape for the branch layer and the ornament. I also turned the ornament over onto a hard foam mat and used the very large stylus tip from Marvy to give the rounded dimensional look.
For the Church scene, which was also an Impression Obsession stamp, I stamped in brown Staz-On and coloured the snow, moon and roofline using US Artquest white pearlized mica paint. The background and the church was coloured with Tombow markers. I used a permanent brown marker to do the branches in the trees as they are so fine and it would be easy to run over the lines and blur the colour. Finally I coloured the cross in a gold gel pen. I cut just the church out and mounted it on foam for a more dimensional look.
Enjoy the warm weather while you can!

Hi to all
Hi everyone,
Once again it's been really long time since I blogged. My computer was in the hospital for about 3 weeks. I now have it back, without all of the files at the moment as they are still trying to retrieve the data from my hard drive. Keep your fingers crossed!
We have a lot of exciting new classes coming up. We are also going to have Isabel, who was here for the Metal Art workshop weekend. She has been doing metal art for many years and will teach a beautiful candle wrap class, just in time for Christmas. OF COURSE the sample is not on this computer, so I will send it as soon as I can. It will be on one of the following dates: Sat. Nov. 5 or Sat. Nov. 11. It will be for both beginner and intermediate students.
Here are the other upcoming classes:
Dreamweaver Trees: ($47.50 incl. stencil and Splendor Ink Pad)
Sat. Oct. 15, 1:30-4pm
Wed. Oct. 19, 10-12:30pm
Penny Black Belles ($42.50 incl. 1 stamp)
Thurs. Oct. 20, 10-12pm
Sat. Oct. 22, 10-12:30pm (MY BIRTHDAY! ;-)
Third card to come:
Little Mimis ($38.50 incl. 1 stamp)
Thurs. Oct. 27, 10-12pm
Sat. Oct. 29, 10-12pm
