What a beautiful day!  The weather has been amazing.  Nice and cool at night as well. 

The Make 'n Take on Saturday was so much fun.  We had it outdoors under a tent and the weather again, was perfect.  The embossing punches were a huge hit.  They are so easy to use, and punch well, unlike a lot of other brands.

This is what we made and other examples using the punches.

Hi Everyone,

We are having a Free Make 'n Take this Saturday the 7th, from 10-2pm.  We will be demo-ing these amazing punches, which not only cut out the shape but also emboss when they are put into the "waffel maker".  You will make a really cute tag using a few of the punches, but you can also try any of the ones you want.  They also have pre-printed floral designs that you can punch and emboss with a mixture of many colours, to be able match any colour scheme you are using.  You can create a pattern from scratch, or embellish a stamped design.  I've included a few of the cards and there are many more samples in the store.  As I am having a little "issue" with my email, I've decided to include the email that was sent out here as well, in case you didn't receive it.

Come and see the new cutting and embossing punches that have just arrived. We will be having a free demo/Make ‘n Take on Sat. July 7^th. from 10-2pm. They are a wonderful way to embellish your cards, and as long as you have paper, you can match any design you want without having to purchase pre-made paper or silk flower. They even have sheets already printed with coloured flowers on them from which you can punch your flowers. They can be used alone or can also make a stamped design 3D without any tedious cutting.

Hi everyone,

We are happy to announce that Magenta will be here in August, to give a full day of wonderful classes.  It will be on August 18th.  You can view the classes here:  http://www.bonnidee.com/classes/upcoming/august/index.html

We are also excited to have Zana come back from Stamp Zia.  Zana will be teaching 2 full days of classes on September the 15th and 16th.  I will have the samples very soon, but what I've seen is wonderful!

Tomorrow evening between 6:30 and 9pm we will be having an open house/wine and cheese.  There will also be a VERY quick Make N Take as well as a few drawings for gifts.

Also, if weather permits, Renate will have a tour of her magnificent garden.

Good afternoon,

I hope you are all having a great week. 

La Palette art gallery is having a huge Anitique and Garage Sale this Saturday, from 9-4pm and we are having a sale of our own.  There will be everything from stamps, to paper to stamp pads on sale, including 15% off everything in the store.  The rain date will be Sunday.  Come down to visit our new surroundings.  The gallery is certainly inspiring, and you can check out our new classes.  We still have room in this Saturday's class from 1:30-4pm  You will make these "shimmery" cards using embossing folders, Shimmer Sheetz, and inks.

I just made a whimsical card using a stamp from Impression Obsession and Tombow markers.

I was also lucky enough to spot this screech owl, nestled in a tree during the day.  They blend in so beautifully with their surroundings.  His (or her) feathers look just like bark.

When I turned around, Rocky was staring at me...

Hi to all,

Finally some sunshine!  The sun is streaming in the windows here, and it just makes me want to go for a walk.

We are settling into our new place.  It is very relaxing and inspiring.  After seeing what some of the students in the art gallery are doing, it makes me think of stamping on silk, vellum and other creative projects.

We finally received the much anticipated Tim Holtz Distress Markers.  These will be used in the Magenta Watercolour classes.  We also received the specialty paper and the watercolour brushes which are wonderful!

We got in more of the Memory Box dies as well as these keep flying off the shelves.

We have some wonderful upcoming classes, some of which are not full yet.

I was walking through the woods on Monday and came across these 2 cute critters.  I just love the way the Screech Owl blends into the bark of the tree.  No wonder he was so difficult to spot.  I was busy taking pictures of the raccoon when a young man asked if I was taking pictures of the owl which was right above my head!

We are finally settled in our new place a just love it.  There is such a creative ambience.  Things are just about put away, although, if you know me, that will never happen completely!

We got back from the Boston show with some wonderful new ideas for classes from companies such as Impression Obsession, Hero Arts, Magent and Elizabeth Crafts.

We have just uploaded several new classes to our calendar and have several more to come in the next few weeks.

Hi everyone,

Well, it's been a LONG couple of weeks, but we're finally moved into our new location.  Everything is not completely organized, (imagine that ;-), but the store is now officially open.

We just received a lot of the new dies from Spellbinders, and also Penny Black new stamps. We also received more Memory Box dies as well.

Our classrooms are now in order and once we return from a trade show next week, we should have a lot of new classes.  We have 2 new classes that should be up next week.

We hope to see you soon.  It's about 5mins. from the old store by the 20 highway.  You just go west to Woodland if you are coming from the city, go left and turn left at Beaconsfield Blvd.  We are at 480 Beaconsfield Blvd. on your right.  It is a charming neighborhood with several good restaurants and the gallery is FULL of surprises!

Hi everyone

Happy March!

Things are "moving" around here.  It's amazing how much you accumulate over 20 years.  It feels good to purge but is a lot of sorting.  I really wish I had a BIG dumpster. 

We will be having our biggest sale ever this Sat. and Sun.  Everything in the store will be 30%-75%.  I'm selling racks as well and various craft items.  For a $25 purchase you will receive a solar light/water bottle (one per customer) a value of $29.99.

We will be starting to move the Monday after the sale and will be into our new place by the 15th.  I'll keep you posted as to the opening date.

It is a totally charming place, and will be an exciting new venture.
